Irene van Renswoude Honorary Professor at University of Amsterdam
As of 1 September 2018, Irene van Renswoude will become an honorary professor at the University of Amsterdam. She has been appointed for two days a week to the Herman de la Fontaine Verwey Chair of the Royal Library and the University of Amsterdam. Her field of study is ‘The Science of Manuscripts in Relation to the History of Civilisation, especially the Middle Ages (500-1500)’. We are proud of Irene van Renswoude’s appointment and wish her every success. Her combination of knowledge of medieval manuscripts and digital humanities makes her ideally suited for this chair.
