Biography
Lotte Belice Baltussen (1981) studied Film and Television Studies and Preservation and Presentation of the Moving Image at the University of Amsterdam. She worked at the Knowledge and Innovation Department of the Netherlands Institute for Sound and Vision as a project leader for six years. For the past seven years, she worked as a freelance digital project leader and researcher in the heritage sector. Her responsibilities included the digital strategy of the Anne Frank House. She also did several projects at the intersection of digital heritage and education, including for the Digital Heritage Network, Kennisnet, the Kröller-Müller Museum, the Frans Hals Museum and the Mauritshuis.
Central to her projects is user research, to then weigh and balance the wishes of these users, the mission of the organisation and the possibilities and limitations of technology.
