Circulation of Dutch literature (CODL)
CODL, ‘The Circulation of Dutch Literature’, is a research program that studies the international dissemination of Dutch-language literature through translations and adaptations. CODL consists of several subprojects:
- the project Beatrijs internationaal, coordinated by dr. Ton van Kalmthout, dr. Orsolya Réthelyi and prof. Remco Sleiderink (2009-2010)
- the NWO funded project Het is niet onopgemerkt gebleven: An Internatonal Network Studying the Circulation of Dutch Literature (2012-2015), coordinated by prof. Elke Brems, dr. Ton van Kalmthout and prof. Remco Sleiderink
- the KU Leuven project Boek to Book: Flanders in the Transnational Literary Field, conducted by Jack McMartin MA (2015-2019)
- the FWO/NWO funded project Eastbound: The Distribution and Reception of Translations and Adaptations of Dutch-language Literature, 1850-1990 (2016-2021)
